We’re a locally owned and operated mobile sauna, bringing the traditional sauna experience to some of Aotearoa’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. We designed and built our sauna ourselves from the ground up, with a simple goal: create a space to slow down, warm up, connect with good people and enjoy the outdoors. We take our sauna to the beach, where you can sweat it out, cool off in the ocean, and repeat — all while enjoying the scenery and good company. Whether you’re looking for a different kind of weekend activity, a way to unwind after a swim, or simply an excuse to get outside, we’re here to make sauna and cold-water experiences easy, social and fun.

What should I know before visiting?

LOCATION: Turn off from HWY 59 onto Pukerua Beach road and follow it all the way down to the beach. You will see us set up in front of first set of public toilets. Please try to park with consideration of other drivers using the main road. WHAT TO BRING: 2 TOWELS- One for sitting on and one for drying off. WATER BOTTLE- We will have extra water for all your hydration needs. TOGS - As it is a public beach, please respect our lovely neighbors.

How do I book a session with Bestoked Saunas?

Pick a date from the calendar, choose an available time slot, enter your details, and complete payment if the session is paid. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to manage the booking.

Do I need an account to book?

Not if you have not booked here before. You can book as a guest using just your email address. If you already have an account with that address you are asked to sign in first, and an account makes managing future bookings easier.

Can I book the same session every week automatically?

No. Bookings are made one at a time, so pick the date and time you want on each occasion. Anything you have already booked is listed on your account page.

How far ahead can I book?

How far ahead you can book depends on the session. Sessions appear on the booking page as they are scheduled, and dates further out appear closer to the time.

Bookings close when the session starts. After that, the session shows as "Booking is now closed".

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment methods are set by the venue and vary by region, typically card payments, with mobile wallets and local bank-debit options where the venue has enabled them. Memberships and Bundles unlock reduced prices automatically when you are signed in.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Use the manage link in your confirmation email to reschedule up to 24 hours before the session starts, or to cancel up to 24 hours before the session starts. Paid bookings are refunded to the original payment method. Some sessions have their own rules. The exact rule for a session is shown when you book, and in your confirmation email.

Can I change a private hire booking?

Private hire bookings can only be changed by the venue. Contact Bestoked Saunas to make any changes or to cancel. Adding or removing spaces on a private hire booking is always done by Bestoked Saunas.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes. Gift vouchers can be bought for Bestoked Saunas from the gift vouchers page. Pick a voucher, add a personal message, and the recipient receives a code by email that they redeem at checkout.

How do Bundles work?

A Bundle is a set of sessions bought up front at a lower price than booking them one at a time. Once you have bought one, it is applied automatically when you book an eligible session while signed in with the same email address.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. You are asked to read and agree to the venue's waiver when you book, and your agreement covers the spaces on your booking. If the wording changes you are asked to agree again the next time you book.
