Join us for a Samhuinn sauna ritual - the ancient Celtic New Year, when the harvest ends, winter begins and the veil between our world and the otherworld is at its thinnest. Come let go of what you don't need to carry into the dark half of the year (sweating it out helps).

1. The Fire Circle

Spiced herbal tea round the fire pit. Write down what you're leaving behind, then throw it in the flames.

2. Sweat and Shed

60 minutes of Aufguss, three rounds of 12 to 15 minutes. The last round is The Darkening: lanterns out, candlelight round the stove, total silence.

3. The Cold Veil

In Celtic lore water is a doorway to the otherworld. Chloe will encourage anyone who fancies a cold plunge to take one between rounds. Totally optional.
