Join us for the second traditional aufguss session at arvo. Led by Chris, (@saunaiceman).

Aufguss is a multi-sensory sauna ritual that originated in Germany. It combines music, scents and tactile sensations from the active circulation of heat and steam in a communal heat journey that elevates and enhances the sauna experience. Expect four aufguss sessions of 12-15 minutes each together with opportunities for cold plunges in Arvo's ice baths and time for social sauna.

A Walthamstow local, Chris trained with Flow Aufguss at The Well in Oslo and has led sessions across east London's saunas, spas and festivals for years. Expect a safely held space, eclectic playlists and homemade ice balls infused with his own essential oil blends.

The evening is mixed gender and clothing-optional, so you can experience aufguss as it's traditionally enjoyed across northern Europe, however you're most comfortable.

The session starts at 7pm and finishes at 9:30pm
