The original Skandi / Irish sauna.

Question 2

Accepted Answer

HotBox runs sessions at 2 locations: Benone Strand (benone strand, limavady, BT49 0LQ); Groomsport Harbour (Groomsport Habour, Bangor, BT19 6JP). Each location has its own booking page - pick the one you want when you book.

Question 3

When are you open?

Accepted Answer

At Benone Strand, public sessions run Thursday 09:00-10:00, 10:30-11:30, 12:00-13:00, 13:30-14:30, 15:00-16:00 and Friday to Sunday 09:00-17:30. Times change week to week - the calendar always shows what is actually bookable. These are the times recurring sessions run. One-off dates and cancelled sessions can differ, so check the calendar for a particular day.

Question 4

What sessions do you run?

Accepted Answer

HotBox runs Sauna Meditiation, Yoga socials at Groomsport, Festive Sauna, Yoga socials at Benone, 90 min peak, Sauna Yoga, 90 min sweat and New Years Sauna, and more. Private hire is also available. The calendar shows every session that is currently bookable.

Question 5

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Prices run from £20 to £35 a session, depending on which session you book and which price you choose. HotBox offers a choice of prices - Shared and Event session - so you can pick the one that fits. The exact price shows on each session when you book. Prices differ by session, so the range above spans every session this venue currently runs.

Question 6

How do I book a session with HotBox?

Accepted Answer

Pick a date from the calendar, choose an available time slot, enter your details, and complete payment if the session is paid. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to manage the booking.

Question 7

Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

Not if you have not booked here before. You can book as a guest using just your email address. If you already have an account with that address you are asked to sign in first, and an account makes managing future bookings easier.

Question 8

Can I book the same session every week automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Bookings are made one at a time, so pick the date and time you want on each occasion. Anything you have already booked is listed on your account page.

Question 9

How far ahead can I book?

Accepted Answer

For regular sessions you can book up to 60 days ahead. Dates further out appear on the booking page closer to the time. Some sessions are one-off dates, or run to a set end date, so they do not follow this window.

Question 10

How late can I book?

Accepted Answer

How late you can book depends on the session. Each session stays bookable until its own closing time. After that, the session shows as "Booking is now closed".

Question 11

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

Payment methods are set by the venue and vary by region, typically card payments, with mobile wallets and local bank-debit options where the venue has enabled them.

Question 12

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use the manage link in your confirmation email to reschedule up to 24 hours before the session starts, or to cancel up to 48 hours before the session starts. Booked the wrong date by mistake? You can change it yourself in the first 15 minutes after booking, even if it's past the reschedule cut-off. Paid bookings are refunded to the original payment method. Some sessions have their own rules. The exact rule for a session is shown when you book, and in your confirmation email.

Question 13

What happens if a session is cancelled?

Accepted Answer

You will get an email letting you know. Any payment is refunded in full to the original payment method automatically. There is nothing you need to do. Some sessions have their own rules. The exact rule for a session is shown when you book, and in your confirmation email.

Question 14

Can I change a private hire booking?

Accepted Answer

Private hire bookings can only be changed by the venue. Contact HotBox to make any changes or to cancel. Adding or removing spaces on a private hire booking is always done by HotBox.

Question 15
