Housed inside a beautifully modified, repurposed 30m² shipping container lined with locally sourced timber, the installation hosts structured 55-minute sessions that invite participants to engage in active listening and collective care. Rather than treating sound as background music, our programming delivers curated soundscapes, local poetry, oral histories, and experimental acoustic works that shift dynamically with the time of day—transitioning from ambient morning meditations to deep, contemplative evening compositions. We honor the site through a curated, three-tiered seasonal programming matrix that celebrates all facets of Walyalup’s history. In deep respect of the 50,000-year history of the Whadjuk Noongar people, we have structured a dedicated programming pillar for First Nations Sound Healing Nyoongar sound artists will be commissioned and co-curate deep-listening The artwork celebrates maritime, and multicultural histories of the West End. Not if you have not booked here before. You can book as a guest using just your email address. If you already have an account with that address you are asked to sign in first, and an account makes managing future bookings easier.

No. Bookings are made one at a time, so pick the date and time you want on each occasion. Anything you have already booked is listed on your account page.

You can book up to 90 days ahead. Dates further out appear on the booking page closer to the time.

Bookings close when the session starts. After that, the session shows as "Booking is now closed".

Payment methods are set by the venue and vary by region, typically card payments, with mobile wallets and local bank-debit options where the venue has enabled them. Memberships and Bundles unlock reduced prices automatically when you are signed in.

Yes. Use the manage link in your confirmation email to reschedule up to 24 hours before the session starts, or to cancel up to 24 hours before the session starts. Paid bookings are refunded to the original payment method.

Some sessions have their own rules. The exact rule for a session is shown when you book, and in your confirmation email.

You will get an email letting you know. Any payment is refunded in full to the original payment method automatically. There is nothing you need to do.

Private hire bookings can only be changed by the venue. Contact The Sound Sauna Fremantle Inc to make any changes or to cancel. Adding or removing spaces on a private hire booking is always done by The Sound Sauna Fremantle Inc.

Founding mebership includes 4 sessions a month.

Yes. Anything you have not used carries into the next period, up to one period's worth. It does not build up beyond that, so the most you can have in one period is twice your usual allowance. Sessions carried over last one period: if you use your usual allowance in a period, nothing carries into the next, even if you had sessions carried over. Sessions only carry over from a period you were a member for the whole of. If you book ahead into a later month or week, those bookings count against its usual allowance, and anything carried over becomes available once that period starts. An included session is counted when you book, and it is returned to the period the session sat in if you cancel.

Bookings that used a session included in your membership are cancelled if the session is after your membership ends, and you will get an email about each one. Anything extra you paid on those bookings is refunded. Sessions before your membership ends are not affected, and if you cancel, your membership keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.

Sign in with the email address your membership is under and book as normal. Your membership is applied automatically at checkout. One included session covers one space on the booking, and any extra spaces on the same booking are charged at the usual price.

Yes. Gift vouchers can be bought for The Sound Sauna Fremantle Inc from the gift vouchers page. Pick a voucher, add a personal message, and the recipient receives a code by email that they redeem at checkout.

A Bundle is a set of sessions bought up front at a lower price than booking them one at a time. Once you have bought one, it is applied automatically when you book an eligible session while signed in with the same email address.

Yes. You are asked to read and agree to the venue's waiver when you book, and your agreement covers the spaces on your booking. If the wording changes you are asked to agree again the next time you book.
