At Sauna, public sessions run Tuesday to Wednesday 07:00-11:00, 16:00-21:00, Thursday 07:00-12:30, 16:00-21:00, Friday 07:00-11:00, 16:00-21:00, Saturday 08:00-12:45, 14:00-17:30 and Sunday 09:00-12:30, 14:00-17:30. At Studio, public sessions run Tuesday to Wednesday 07:30-08:30, 18:30-19:30, Thursday 07:30-08:30, 18:30-19:30, 20:00-21:00, Friday 07:30-08:30, 10:00-11:00, 18:30-19:30, Saturday 08:30-09:30, 10:00-11:00 and Sunday 09:30-10:30, 14:30-15:30. Times change week to week - the calendar always shows what is actually bookable. These are the times recurring sessions run. One-off dates and cancelled sessions can differ, so check the calendar for a particular day.

How much does it cost?

Prices run from £15 to £40 a session, depending on which session you book and which price you choose. arvo offers a choice of prices - Studio Class, Off-peak, Event, Contrast & Calm, Weekend and Standard - so you can pick the one that fits. The exact price shows on each session when you book. Prices differ by session, so the range above spans every session this venue currently runs.

What should I know before visiting?

Two Finnish-style saunas, one silent and one social, heated to 85–90°C, with water provided for the stones, plus three cold plunge pools at 5–10°C with continuous filtration and sanitisation. Sessions are usually mixed gender unless stated, and swimwear is required. Please arrive 5–10 mins early. Bring two towels, one to sit on and one to dry with, or rent one for £2. Flip-flops are optional. Filtered water, herbal tea, private changing rooms, showers and keyed lockers are provided. Street parking is free outside 10am–4pm weekdays, with one on-site space available.

How do I book a session with arvo?

Pick a date from the calendar, choose an available time slot, enter your details, and complete payment if the session is paid. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to manage the booking.

Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

Not if you have not booked here before. You can book as a guest using just your email address. If you already have an account with that address you are asked to sign in first, and an account makes managing future bookings easier.

Can I book the same session every week automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Bookings are made one at a time, so pick the date and time you want on each occasion. Anything you have already booked is listed on your account page.

How far ahead can I book?

For regular sessions you can book up to 20 days ahead. Dates further out appear on the booking page closer to the time. Some sessions are one-off dates, or run to a set end date, so they do not follow this window.

How late can I book?

How late you can book depends on the session. Each session stays bookable until its own closing time. After that, the session shows as "Booking is now closed".

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment methods are set by the venue and vary by region, typically card payments, with mobile wallets and local bank-debit options where the venue has enabled them. Memberships and Bundles unlock reduced prices automatically when you are signed in.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Use the manage link in your confirmation email to reschedule any time before the session starts, or to cancel up to 2 hours before the session starts. Paid bookings are compensated with reusable account credit, which you can spend on a future booking.

What happens if a session is cancelled?

You will get an email letting you know. Any payment is automatically returned as reusable account credit, which you can spend on a future booking. There is nothing you need to do.

What does a membership include?

The Local includes 4 sessions each billing period. The Regular includes 8 sessions each billing period. The Resident includes 31 sessions each billing period. James & Marie includes 4 sessions a month. Tash Rose includes 4 sessions a month.

Do included sessions roll over?

Accepted Answer

No. Included sessions are counted against the period the session takes place in, so anything you have not used when a new period starts is not carried over. An included session is counted when you book, and it is returned to the period the session sat in if you cancel.

Question 17

What happens to my bookings if my membership ends?

Bookings that used a session included in your membership are cancelled if the session is after your membership ends, and you will get an email about each one. Anything extra you paid on those bookings is refunded. Sessions before your membership ends are not affected, and if you cancel, your membership keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.

How does my membership apply when I book?

Sign in with the email address your membership is under and book as normal. Your membership is applied automatically at checkout. One included session covers one space on the booking, and any extra spaces on the same booking are charged at the usual price.

How do I change or cancel my membership?

Go to your account page and open Manage payment to see your subscription. If you cannot make the change you need there, contact arvo.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes. Gift vouchers can be bought for arvo from the gift vouchers page. Pick a voucher, add a personal message, and the recipient receives a code by email that they redeem at checkout.

How do Bundles work?

A Bundle is a set of sessions bought up front at a lower price than booking them one at a time. Once you have bought one, it is applied automatically when you book an eligible session while signed in with the same email address.

Question 22

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You are asked to read and agree to the venue's waiver when you book, and your agreement covers the spaces on your booking. If the wording changes you are asked to agree again the next time you book.
