Post your timetable without rebuilding it in Canva every Sunday night.
Session draws your next seven days as an image sized for an Instagram or Facebook post, in your own colours, straight from your live schedule. It sits on your Sessions page, next to the timetable it is made from. Download it, post it, and the pre-written caption tags us so we can share it on. It updates itself every week, because it is built from the sessions you already have in your schedule - there is nothing to keep in sync.

Post this week's schedule
- 1
Open the card
Open Sessions and press Share, above your timetable.
- 2
Check it reads right
The card is live - what you see is what your customers will see. If a day looks emptier than you expect, it is worth checking that session is published before you post.
- 3
Download it
Press Download card. You get a PNG sized 4:5, which is the tallest an Instagram feed post can be, so it takes up as much of the screen as possible while somebody scrolls.
- 4
Post it with the caption
Press Share with a caption and paste. The caption already carries your booking address and tags us, so we can reshare it to our audience.
Post it on the same day each week. People learn the rhythm, and it saves you deciding when.
Choose the week
The card starts from today and runs seven days. Change Start to move that window - to tomorrow if you are posting tonight, since today is usually half spent by the time anyone posts and a first column showing three of a normal eleven sessions makes a busy week look quiet, or to next Monday if you like to post the week ahead on a Friday.
You can point it up to eight weeks out. Past that most venues have nothing scheduled yet, so the card would come back empty.
The heading follows the dates. It reads "This week" while the card still starts today or tomorrow, and "Coming up" once it does not - so a card you post a fortnight early never claims to be this week's.
Share one day instead
Switch Range to Day and you get the same card for a single day rather than a week - the day's sessions as tiles, one under each of Morning, Afternoon and Evening, with the date as the heading.
It is for the posts a week card cannot carry: tomorrow's line-up on a Friday night, a one-off event, or a day you have space you would like to fill.
When you switch to Day, Session picks the next day you actually have sessions on rather than tomorrow, so you never open onto a blank card. Change Day to any other date yourself and it stays where you put it.
The day card can say Full and Limited, which the week card does not. "Limited" means most of that session has gone - the exact point depends on how many spaces it has, so a four-space sauna and a twenty-space one both read the same way. Neither card ever prints a number of spaces left.
Session names on the day card
A day has room for session names where a week column does not, so the day card can show them. It decides for you: names appear when the day runs more than one kind of session, and stay off when every session that day is the same one - which for most venues is most days, and would otherwise print the same word on every tile.
Use Show session names to override that either way for the card you are about to download.
Change the colour
The card uses your brand colour, so it is right without you choosing anything. If you want a different one - something seasonal, or a shade that sits better with the photos on your feed - change it under Background and the text switches between dark and light on its own so it stays readable.
Changing it here does not change your brand colour anywhere else. It applies to the card you are about to download, and Reset puts it back.
Put it over your own photo
Switch Background to Transparent and you get the same card as a PNG with no background at all, to drop over your own photography in whatever you design with.
Pick the Text colour that will read against your photo - dark type on a bright image, light type on a moody one. The preview sits on a checkerboard so you can see exactly what is transparent and what is not.
The transparent card is the full card, not a stripped-down one. Nothing is held back to push you towards the branded version.
What the card shows
Sessions are grouped into Morning, Afternoon and Evening rather than laid out against a clock, because that is closer to how somebody decides when to come. A band nobody uses all week is left off entirely, so an evening-only venue does not get a row of dashes.
A few things are deliberate:
- Sessions that are already full are shown, struck through. They are not removed. A busy week should look busy, and a session crossed out is as good an advert as an empty one.
- There is no count of spaces left. A posted image sits in a feed for days, and a spaces-remaining number is the fastest thing on it to go out of date.
- The week card carries no session names. A column is too narrow for them, and most venues run one kind of session all week, so names would repeat forty times. Name the one that matters in your caption instead - or switch to the day card, which has the room.
- A day you are closed shows dashes, with its date faded, so nobody has to work out whether it is closed or the card is broken.
- Times are shown in your venue's timezone and clock, exactly as they appear on your booking page.
- Your logo sits on a circle only when it needs one. Most logos are transparent images drawn in the venue's own colour, so on a card in that colour they disappear. Where that would happen, the card puts a white or near-black circle behind yours instead. Where your logo already stands out against your background, it is left to sit on the card as it does everywhere else.
Sessions that are unlisted, archived, hidden or cancelled never appear, and neither does a session whose booking window has already closed - the card's whole job is to point at sessions somebody can actually book.
Common questions
-
Does the card update on its own? Yes. It is drawn from your live schedule the moment you open the tab, so it is right every time. There is nothing to refresh and no copy to keep in step.
-
Can I change what is on it? Not directly - the card is your schedule, so you change it by changing your sessions. What you can change is the week it starts on, the background colour, and whether it has a background at all.
-
Why is a day empty when I know we run sessions? Most often the session is unlisted or hidden rather than published, or its booking window has already closed for those times. Open your Sessions page and check the session shows as public.
-
Nothing shows at all. The card covers seven days from the date you picked, so a venue whose next session falls outside that window gets an empty card. Move Start forward to the week your sessions are in.
-
Can I post it somewhere other than Instagram or Facebook? Yes - it is an ordinary PNG. The 4:5 shape suits a feed post best, and works fine anywhere else.
-
What does the caption say? Your venue's name, your booking address, and our handle. You can edit it in the app you are posting from, the same as any caption - it is pre-written so the tag is there by default, not to stop you writing your own.
-
Why has my logo got a circle behind it? Because it would otherwise be hard to see. A transparent logo drawn in your brand colour vanishes on a card in that colour, so Session puts a white or near-black circle behind it, whichever reads better. To pick the colour yourself, open Booking page, reposition your logo under Logo, and set Background - the card uses whatever you choose there.
