Where your session appears

Choose whether a session shows in your calendar, sits pinned at the top as a featured event, or is shared by link only.

Every session type has a placement - where and how customers find it on your booking page. You set it in the Visibility section of the session editor: open a session, then select Visibility.

There are four placements, plus archiving for a session you've stopped running.

Pick a placement and the preview beside it shows exactly what customers will see.

The four placements

  • In the calendar - the normal choice. The session shows in your timetable for anyone to find and book.
  • Featured, and in the calendar - the session shows in the timetable and as a pinned card at the top of your booking page, so it stands out.
  • Featured only - a pinned card at the top, kept out of the timetable. Use it for a one-off event you want to highlight without cluttering your regular schedule.
  • Direct link only - not shown anywhere on your booking page. The only way in is the session's own link, which you share yourself.

Whichever you pick, the preview beside the editor updates to match, so you see the customer's view before you save.

A featured session gets a card pinned above your calendar - a good way to draw attention to a special or seasonal session. Choose Featured, and in the calendar to keep it in the timetable as well, or Featured only to show just the card and keep your timetable tidy.

If several sessions are set to featured, the top of your booking page shows the soonest few.

Every session has its own link, whatever its placement - find it in the Session URL field under Visibility, or see your booking links. Direct link only is the placement for a session you only want to share this way: an invite-only or private session that stays off the public calendar but is still open to anyone with the link.

Common questions

  1. What's the difference between "Featured only" and "Direct link only"? Both keep a session out of your timetable. Featured only still shows it publicly, as a pinned card at the top of your booking page. Direct link only shows it nowhere; the only way in is the link you share.

  2. I set a session to "Featured only" but the card isn't showing. A featured card needs an upcoming date. Check the session has a schedule or a one-off date in the future.

  3. Can I take one date off the calendar without changing the whole session? Yes - hide that occurrence instead of changing the session's placement.

  4. How do I stop running a session entirely? Archive it - it comes off your booking page and tucks into a collapsed list, ready to bring back later.
